Honeyberry roti buns on Irving in SF

I went here a few days ago. We tried a plain roti bun, which I liked. The flavor reminded me of tiramisu. I don't really understand why these are called "roti"—I asked, and one of the people behind the counter told me that it was related to the Malaysian word for coffee? Although this doesn't quite check out either. Anyway, I agree w/ pane's description. Wouldn't go out of my way to get this, but I liked it. We also ordered honey toast (similar to brick toast), which was prepared by an enthusiastic employee (there were about 6 people behind the counter, all hanging out). The pieces of toast that had the most honey tasted the best, and I really liked the flavor the honey added. It also had two kinds of gelato (hazelnut was good, toffee crunch was bad), pineapple, strawberries, chocolate sauce and caramel sauce, and whipped cream + cherry. It wasn't the best dessert ever, or even the best brick toast ever, but 3 of us ate all of it. This place probably won't be a destination spot for me, but it's a nice addition to the neighborhood.
