The huge (by boba joint standards) Tii Cafe which has been a-building for the past year or so is now in its soft-opening stage. It's in the old World Ginseng Center at 801 Kearny St. (directly across the street from the new City College building). Tii Cafe's owner is the registered agent for Ten Ren in San Francisco so I assume the tea quality decent.
I'm not a bubble tea fan so I haven't tried out Tii Cafe, but I know there are boba mavens on this board that may want to give it a going over.
As for the odd spelling? It may have something to do with the fact that the owner spells his family name Lii...
