on our next trip to Healdsburg we'll be trying Cafe Lucia for the first time, based on our excellent experiences at La Salette in Sonoma.
our one visit to Farmhouse Inn didn't motivate us to return. we really enjoy eating locally grown or sourced foods when we're in the area, but their menu, with attractive enough dishes, was pretty generic and similar to eating in a nice midwestern restaurant. we enjoyed our last meal at DCK where they do focus on locally sourced foods, but would consider it a special occasion kind of place. in terms of service, they were equal to the best we've had in the area. that said, Farmhouse Inn seems to be a favorite of folks who post on this site, which is why we tried it.
after several visits to Scopa, which we enjoyed, for that genre of Sonoma-cali-italian food we've decided that Diavola in Geyserville suits our tastes better. if you enjoy a loud, bustling trattoria type of setting though, Scopa is fine.
